About Me

My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences that inform my work today. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, where I gained a strong foundation in relational and integrative approaches to therapy. My graduate training included a focus on neurodiversity-affirming care, which continues to guide my practice.

Following graduate school, I gained extensive experience in community mental health and school-based therapy through my work with Bay Area Community Resources. As the lead therapist at John Swett High School, I developed and implemented wellness programs, built a team of clinicians, and supported student mental health. At Miramonte High School, I provided direct therapy services and facilitated therapeutic groups for teens. These roles allowed me to deeply engage with diverse school communities, addressing a range of mental health challenges. Later, I spent two years at TheraThrive in Lafayette, where I specialized in supporting neurodivergent clients, including gifted and twice-exceptional individuals.

I also work closely with parents who are deeply committed to finding the right support for their teens. A significant part of my role involves collaborating with parents to better understand their child’s unique needs and challenges, while equipping them with tools to foster stronger connections. I see myself not only as a therapist for teens but also as a guide and ally for parents, helping them navigate this journey with confidence and care.

In addition to my work as a therapist, my background spans film, the food industry, non-profit food justice, and agriculture—experiences that have given me a deep appreciation for creativity, community, and sustainability. As an artist, I’ve produced music and art projects, blending my passion for self-expression with collaboration. Currently, I balance my therapy practice with a small natural wine-making project in Richmond, which keeps me connected to hands-on work and the land. In my free time, you’ll often find me on the water—crabbing, sailing, or kitesurfing—activities that ground and inspire me. These diverse experiences enrich my approach to therapy, fostering a unique balance between creativity, connection, and exploration.
