Getting Started: Free Consultation and First Steps

I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss what you’re looking for in therapy and see if we’re a good fit to work together. During this time, I’ll invite you to share what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, your past experiences with it, and any current challenges you’re facing. In the second half of our conversation, I’ll provide details about my practice, and together we can decide whether to move forward and schedule a first session.

I encourage new clients to view the first three sessions as an evaluative period. This gives us both the chance to assess if we’re a good match for a longer-term therapeutic relationship. I’ve found this approach helps set the foundation for meaningful and effective work together.
